New Electric Vehicle Charging Tariffs - 1st February 2022

As of the 1st of February 2022  increased electric vehicle charging tariffs will be introduced in Dundee following committee approval.

Two different rates will be brought in from February 1st  2022 in order to balance availability between fast and rapid chargers, and to accommodate the higher cost of providing rapid chargers.

The new tariffs will be 20p per kWh for fast chargers (up to 22kW) and 25p per kWh for rapid chargers (≥43kW AC or 50kW DC) and the connection fee of 38p will remain unchanged.

For drivers on the Resident Discount Scheme, from 1st April 2022 a discounted tariff of 15p per kWh will apply to all chargers.

If you are a Dundee resident and the vehicle and Charge Place Scotland swipe card is used for personal use ONLY you can join the residents discount scheme by emailing: fleet@dundeecity.gov.uk for more information.
